SCRA Associates Donate to Lowcountry Orphan Relief
Summerville, SC - SCRA's Teambuilding Activities Group (TAG) recently completed a "flash drive" held to gather donations for Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Inc. SCRA associates donated over 740 items for the non-profit that works to provide goods and services to children who have been abused or neglected.
"SCRA is delighted to support this great organization," said SCRA Executive Vice President Natalie Corella. "We do several flash drives each year for worthy causes in South Carolina, and our associates always show incredible support and dedication. We're honored to be a part of the community and our goal is to make a positive impact where we can."
The employee-driven TAG allows SCRA associates to participate in social activities aimed at building company morale and offers opportunities for philanthropic and charitable work; associates are able to participate in volunteer activities in support of local communities. Through this program, SCRA's associates have made significant charitable contributions to communities throughout the state and have helped to improve the well-being of South Carolinians.
